Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, and the project/financial data you enter into TerraLine. We also collect usage data automatically (page views, feature interactions, error logs) and standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps).
2. How we use it
We use your data to: (a) provide and improve the Service; (b) send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets); (c) send product updates and announcements (you can opt out at any time); (d) diagnose errors and debug issues; (e) comply with legal obligations.
3. Data storage
Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS infrastructure in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Backups are retained for 30 days.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: (a) service providers necessary to operate TerraLine (Supabase, Vercel, Stripe for payments) — each bound by data processing agreements; (b) law enforcement when legally required; (c) a successor entity in the event of a merger or acquisition (with notice to you).
5. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication sessions (Supabase JWT). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. If we add analytics cookies in the future, we will update this policy and provide appropriate consent controls.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your personal data by emailing support@terraline.tech. We will respond within 30 days. You may also request a data export. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
7. Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, data is purged within 30 days, except where a longer retention period is required by applicable law.
8. Children
TerraLine is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we discover we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect.
